Internship and research matching for students with no experience.
Most boards drop you into the same overcrowded pile. Seeded ranks real postings against your actual experience level, so every match is one you genuinely have a shot at winning.

How it works
Three steps from profile to submitted application.
Tell us what you already have
A quick guided interview surfaces resume-worthy experience from your classes, clubs, and jobs.
Get matched to a role you can actually win
This is the edge: real postings ranked by fit and sized to your actual experience level, split into Target Roles (genuinely winnable right now) and Reach Roles, instead of one undifferentiated pile everyone applies to blind.
Generate outreach
Each match includes a personalized outreach email draft, ready to send.
Why we called it Seeded
Seeded grows your career from wherever it starts: small teams and low-competition roles most students overlook. That first real title makes the next one possible.
The name also comes from tournament seeding. A 1-seed and a 16-seed don’t get the same opening match, and neither should your job search.
Common questions
How do I get an internship with no experience as a first-year?
Most first-years already have more resume-worthy experience than they realize -- a class project, a club you helped run, tutoring, a part-time job. Seeded's Experience Excavation is a short guided interview that surfaces that real experience and turns it into honest resume bullets, then matches you to internships and research roles sized to your actual experience level rather than only the most competitive listings.
Is it too early to apply for internships as a freshman?
No. Seeded ranks opportunities into Target Roles (employers in your field where your current profile is genuinely competitive) and Reach Roles (larger, more competitive employers), so a first- or second-year student with little or no professional experience yet can still see exactly where a tailored application has real odds right now.
What if I don't have anything to put on a resume yet?
That's normal, and Seeded won't invent experience you don't have -- no fabricated metrics or padded titles. The Experience Excavation interview asks about things you've actually done (school projects, jobs, clubs, freelance work, things you've built) and only turns real answers into bullets, so what you end up with is honest and defensible in an interview.
Does Seeded find real internships, or just help with my resume?
Both. Seeded matches you to live internship postings and real faculty research opportunities at your school (found via web search, not a fake placeholder list) based on your major, target job, and school, and generates a tailored outreach email for each match, on top of the resume-building tools.
Is Seeded free to use?
Yes, the free plan includes one preview match and one AI-generated resume bullet. Full matching, unlimited resume bullets, and outreach email drafts are available on the paid plan.
